Return & Cancellation Policy

At Gadadhari, we take pride in our craftsmanship. Most of our equipment—Mudgars, Gadas, and Meels—are handcrafted and often finished to order. Because of the nature of our products, we have a strict but fair policy to ensure quality and transparency.

1. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. After 24 hours, cancellation is not possible because your product usually moves into the crafting, seasoning, or packing stage.

How to cancel:

  • Subject Line: "Cancel Order [Your Order Number]"

  • Details: Please share your name and order number in the email.

Refund for cancelled orders: If your cancellation request is received within the 24-hour window, the refund will be initiated within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.


2. Returns (Change of Mind)

We do not accept returns based on a "change of mind." Examples: "I don't want it now," "I ordered by mistake," or "I changed my decision."

Reason: Our products are handcrafted, heavy, and difficult to ship back and forth without damage. Once we reserve or finish a piece for you, we cannot treat it like a mass-produced factory item. Please be sure of your purchase before placing an order.


3. Damaged or Wrong Item Received

If your product is damaged during delivery or you receive the wrong item, we are here to help. You must inform us within 72 hours (3 days) of delivery.

Required Proof: To process a claim, please email us the following:

  1. Unboxing Video: (Strongly recommended to prove the item arrived damaged).

  2. Clear Photos: Close-up photos of the damage.

  3. Packaging Photos: Photos of the outer box/packaging state.

  4. Order Number.

Our Solution: After verifying the details, we will provide a free replacement.

  • Replacement Time: Please allow up to 4 weeks for the replacement to reach you, as this accounts for handcrafting time and shipping logistics.


4. 3-Month Replacement Guarantee (Manufacturing Defect)

We stand by the quality of our wood. We provide a 3-month replacement guarantee specifically for manufacturing defects or breakage that occurs during normal, intended use.

What is NOT covered:

  • Misuse, wrong training techniques, or dropping the equipment on hard surfaces (concrete/tiles).

  • Intentional damage.

  • Normal wear and tear (minor scratches, dents, or natural wood grain marks that do not affect structural integrity).

How to claim:

  • Email gadadhariofficial@gmail.com with photos/videos of the issue and your order number.

  • After verification, if the defect is genuine, we will initiate a replacement (up to 4 weeks processing time).


5. Shipping Scope

Currently, Gadadhari ships only within India. We do not support international orders or international returns at this time.


6. Refund Timeline (After Approval)

If a refund is approved (for valid cancellations within 24 hours), we will initiate it within 5-7 business days. The amount will reflect in your original payment method depending on your bank's processing speed.
